Awaiting Tidings of Comfort and Joy * Original Painting

For three weeks I watched a couple of Magpies.  Birds were busy collecting dry grass in my backyard for a nest they were building  in the tree near my house.

I had a chance to take a good look at their wonderful shiny feathers and noticed many interesting things in their communication.  These birds gave me such amazing moments of contemplation and rest . I was curious to learn more about birds.. Many cultures  see Magpies as a messenger that brings news.

I dedicate my painting to everyone who is right now Awaiting Tidings of Comfort and Joy.
