The Goldfinch's Favorite Garden. Original Painting

Last summer, after I planted wildflowers in my yard, I started noticing little flashes of yellow dancing among my coneflowers. At first, I thought they were just passing through, but they kept coming back, happily hopping from bloom to bloom.

Curious, I did a little research and discovered they were American Goldfinches. It turns out they love the seeds of echinacea and cornflowers, and suddenly my garden had become one of their favorite gathering places.

Since then, I look forward to seeing them every morning. Their bright feathers seem to carry a little piece of sunshine, and their cheerful visits remind me that a garden is never created just for us—it becomes a home for countless little lives.

This painting is my way of celebrating those joyful visitors and the unexpected friendships that bloom when we leave a little room for nature. I hope it brings the same feeling of warmth, color, and quiet happiness into your home that these tiny goldfinches bring into mine.

The painting is ready to hang on the wall and doesn't require the frame.
