Artist Comments

By August, the sunflowers in my garden have stopped trying to look perfect. They twist and lean, petals curl and fall, and every flower seems to have its own personality. I love them most at this stage—wild, sun-warmed, a little tired, and still completely full of life. Wild Hearts in August is a small 8×10 painting celebrating that beautifully imperfect moment when summer begins to let go.

The painting is ready to hang on the wall and doesn't require the frame.
